Message from Italian Prime Minister

The Italian Prime Minister has put out the following message:

“If the number of Coronavirus infections does not decrease until Wednesday, we will impose the general quarantine and shut down the country permanently, and we will stop working in companies and factories. We will spend the wages of the workers and employees from the state fund, and we will cancel the water and electricity bills.”

Then he continued saying, “It is true that the Italian economy will completely collapse, but Italy must sacrifice for the sake of its people.”

“In previous wars, the people would die for Italy to live. In this war, Italy would die for the people to live.”
