A group of people was recently spotted exercising at Yishun. Singapore remains to be a quirky place despite brandishing a modern image to the world.

Yishun can’t seem to shirk of a crazy image.

The gathering is located at a park next to Blk 126 Yishun Ring Rd, and according to a reader, occurs almost daily in the early morning.

The reader said that between 6:30am to 7:30am, the group can be observed gathering to exercise.

From a video the reader the submitted, the group appears to comprise mostly seniors, who are exercising in tandem while standing apart.

At least 13 individuals can be spotted in the group.

However, exercising in groups during the circuit breaker is not allowed, something HDB reiterated.

Those who want to exercise during this period should do so alone or with another member of the same household.

In accordance to safe distancing guidelines, individuals should also stay at home and avoid going out at this time, in order to curb the spread of the virus.

In response to the incident above, HDB revealed that they had visited the site and issued a warning to the participants to cease their activities.

HDB will continue monitoring the situation, and will take enforcement action if the activities persist.
